The 12-day war with Iran has become a nightmare for the Israeli economy / The income of one-third of the regime's companies has been halved

8 Jul 2025 - 8:14

The results of an official survey in the occupied territories show that the recent and short-term war between the Israeli regime and Iran has dealt a deep blow to the economic structure of the regime; in such a way that more than one-third of companies have experienced a 50-76 percent decrease in income and vital industries such as food and beverages are on the verge of a severe recession.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The direct war between the Zionist regime and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which lasted only 12 days, has left heavy and far-reaching consequences for the Israeli economy. The latest survey by the Central Bureau of Statistics of the regime has revealed a shocking reality: more than 36 percent of companies operating in Israel have faced a drop in income of more than 50 percent in June; and of these, nearly 22 percent have even reported a decrease in income of more than 76 percent.

These statistics, released after the initial effects of the war had subsided, clearly show that the Israeli economy is not resilient enough to security and military shocks and is highly vulnerable to regional crises.

A review of various economic sectors shows that the food and beverage industry has been affected more than any other sector. About 65 percent of businesses in this sector reported in June that their income had decreased by more than 50 percent. Only 7 percent of businesses in this sector stated that the war had not affected their economic performance. These figures clearly indicate the deep impact of the war on people’s daily livelihoods and the significant decline in the purchasing power of households in the occupied territories.

The findings of this survey show that the economic structure of the Zionist regime is highly dependent on security stability and is subject to instability in the face of any regional crisis. Only 17 percent of Israeli companies said that the recent war had no effect on their income. This low level is a clear sign of the lack of economic resilience and the possibility of collapse if regional conflicts continue.

The economic erosion caused by the war with Iran is a serious warning for Tel Aviv's leaders. Continuing aggressive policies in the region will not only challenge Israel's military fronts, but will also lead to the destruction of economic infrastructure, increasing domestic discontent, spreading livelihood crises, and capital flight. Analysts believe that if these types of tensions are repeated or continue, the political power and internal cohesion of the Zionist regime will also be shaken.

The 12-day war showed that the cost of military adventurism for Israel goes beyond human and security losses, and that the economy is the weak point that could bring this regime to its knees in the future.
