165 kilograms of agate worth 120 million afghanis sold in Nuristan
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has announced that 165 kilograms of agate worth 120 million afghanis have been sold in Nuristan province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum announced today (Monday, July 14) in a press release that the bidding process for the sale of precious and semi-precious stones in Kamdish district of Nuristan province was held in the presence of Maulvi Sayed Rahim, the head of mines in the province, committee members and local officials.

This process was carried out in the presence of representatives of various provincial departments and in a transparent atmosphere, during which 165 kilograms of agate were sold for 120 million afghanis, and the Islamic Emirate's share of this transaction was 12 million afghanis.

It is worth noting that in this bidding, for the first time, rubies extracted from the mines of Nuristan were also sold.
