Book Evaluation Commission Meeting Held; Permission to Print for a Number of Books
The Ministry of Information and Culture announced the holding of a regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission and said that in this meeting, “books written in accordance with Islamic, Afghan values, and the policy of the Islamic Emirate” received permission to print.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Information and Culture issued a press release today (Monday, July 14) stating that a regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission was held under the leadership of Maulvi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications of the Ministry.

According to the press release, at the beginning of the meeting, the report of the previous meeting was presented and the achievements and activities of this commission were also positively evaluated.

In this meeting, necessary decisions were made regarding various books and books written in accordance with Islamic and Afghan values, and the policy of the Islamic Emirate received permission to print.

There was also discussion about assigning locations to publishers, coordinating with publishing houses and printing houses in the book printing sector, and the decree of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate on exemption from book printing tax.

Recently, the books referred to the commission were submitted to the members of the commission for evaluation to present their report to the next meeting.

This is while the Leader of the Islamic Emirate has recently exempted book printing tax within the country.
