Donkey theft by the Israeli army in Gaza; theft in wartime conditions
As the people of Gaza, due to widespread military attacks and fuel shortages, have turned to using livestock, especially donkeys, as one of the main means of transportation on the streets and on routes for distributing food, water and aid, the Israeli army has removed hundreds of donkeys from the Gaza Strip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Israeli network "Kan" reported that in recent weeks, the Israeli army has removed several hundred donkeys from the Gaza Strip and transferred these animals to a farm affiliated with an Israeli association.

According to the official of the association, some of these animals have been transferred to France and a plan is underway to transfer the rest to Belgium. He emphasized that these donkeys will not be allowed to return to Gaza and the goal is to prevent them from being used again in local operations.

Gaza residents see this action as a form of theft and part of Israel’s aggressive policies. They believe that these animals have played a vital role in transporting goods, water, the wounded and even the bodies of the dead during wartime. Images of the streets of Gaza showing donkeys being used for transportation have become a symbol of resistance and life in times of crisis.

According to Fars, this Israeli action comes at a time when the people of Gaza are heavily dependent on these animals for transportation and survival, and their removal has a profound negative impact on daily life and relief efforts in the region. This action has been met with widespread criticism and international concern.
