Reports of the Israeli army's ground advance in the Damascus suburbs

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al-Mayadeen, the Israeli ground forces have advanced from the occupied Golan Heights towards the Light Rif Damascus with more than 15 armored and military vehicles and have reached the city of Qatna in the Damascus suburbs, about 10 kilometers from the capital.

 

A video has been published on social media showing the entry of these armored vehicles into Qatna.

 

After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria and the new government under the command of Abu Muhammad al-Julani in Damascus, Israeli forces have carried out at least 22 ground advance operations in southern Syria, which include the provinces of Quneitra, Rif Damascus and Daraa.

 

This operation was accompanied by violations of Syrian sovereignty, the destruction of homes, the illegal detention of civilians, and attacks on civilian facilities, and is a clear violation of the 1974 ceasefire agreement between Syria and the Zionist regime.

 

Following the start of the “Suwayda Sedition” in southern Syria, the Zionist regime has increased its attacks and operations on Syrian soil under the pretext of supporting the Druze minority.

 

The recent bloody clashes in Suwayda, Syria, between the Druze community and government-affiliated forces led by al-Jolani, have led to a severe crisis.

 

After government forces entered the city and the Druze resistance, Israel, claiming to support this religious minority, launched extensive air and drone attacks against Syrian army positions in Suwayda and Damascus.
