Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Mazar-e-Sharif: Sayed Mohammad Yazdan Parast, a social affairs expert and media activist, considered education an important value since the beginning of human creation and said that good education and healthy upbringing give humans the power to recognize and choose positive individual and social issues. Pointing out that Islam is the first religion that recommended reading and familiarity with the pen, he considered progress, development, health, environment and all aspects of human life to be dependent on education and upbringing, and called on the citizens of the country to view acquiring knowledge and education as a vital matter.
Yazdanparast added: “The education process in the country is mixed with the teachings of Islam, and children are introduced to the alphabet of education and training through mosques and religious institutions at an early age, and educated individuals with a healthy upbringing have played and continue to play a role as ambassadors of empathy and unity in society at all times.” He emphasized that proper and healthy education strengthens the religious and national spirit in the residents of a country, and in this process, the teacher, as an agent and spreader of knowledge, has a special place and a respectable personality.
This media activist proposed a positive transformation in the educational process to the country’s officials and elites, and called for teaching applied science in accordance with the labor market or the needs of society in schools and universities. He emphasized that open-mindedness should be welcomed in the country's academic institutions and that everyone should work towards expanding education as an Islamic duty, because strengthening the educational process reduces and eliminates all internal crises in the country.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Ansari, another psychologist and expert in this discourse, pointed out the importance of healthy upbringing and beneficial education, saying that specialized and committed individuals lead the society and the country to excellence and prosperity, and commitment is achieved through education and specialization through education.
Ansari stated that specialized individuals without commitment lead societies to crisis, therefore education or specialization without education or commitment cannot be beneficial, and he asked families to pay attention to these points in raising their children. He emphasized that the family is a form of small society for the child, and the starting point of a child's education and upbringing begins with the family, and mothers and fathers can be good educational and training factors for children by encouraging and persuading them.
He said that the fetus is affected by the mother's nervous and intellectual pressures after the first month, and this is the first stage of the child's learning or being influenced, and young fathers and mothers should not spend too much time in cyberspace and behave inappropriately.
Ansari praised the educational and training process of Gaza residents, adding: According to official information, in previous years, about 5,000 people defended their doctoral degrees, and even recently, amidst the Israeli crimes and bombings, one person defended his doctoral thesis. The purpose of addressing the scientific honors of Gaza was to make us know that economic problems have not and do not hinder scientific progress. He acknowledged that yes, a good economy plays a role in better learning of sciences, but the reason is not better education and on the other hand, families should not make excuses against their children and youth, and we should always strive for education and training with freedom, hope and foresight.
The Awakening and Awareness Discourse of the Representative Office of the Tebyan Center for Cultural and Social Activities is held every Tuesday with the presence of prominent religious, scientific, cultural, and social experts.
