Afghanistan Warmly Welcomes 16-Member Pakistani Motorcycle Team

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In this program, the Afghan national motorcycle team accompanied the Pakistani tourists from their residence to the sports department of the country. This action, as a symbol of friendship and good relations between the people of the two countries, created a cordial atmosphere in the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Maulvi Ahmadullah Wasiq, General Director of Olympics, Physical Education and Sports, Abdul Nasser Hashemi, General Director of Finance and Administration, Fazlur Rehman Bari, Head of the Office of the Authority, Dad Mohammad Payanda Akhtari, Head of Olympic Affairs, Bawar Khan Hotak, Deputy Director of the National Olympic Committee, and a number of sports and security officials of the country. Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs, also attended the program.

In his speech, Maulvi Ahmadullah Wasiq welcomed the Pakistani tourists and introduced Afghanistan as a safe, stable country full of natural attractions, expressing hope that these trips would expand tourism and cultural interactions between the two countries.

Referring to the growth in the presence of foreign tourists in recent months, Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs, said: “Ensuring security throughout the country has led to Afghanistan witnessing an unprecedented presence of foreign tourists in the past year, which bodes well for a bright future for the country’s tourism industry.”
