SDF clashes with Syrian interim government forces in Aleppo suburbs

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to reports, SDF elements have reinforced their forces in the Tishreen Dam, Deir Hafer and Maskanah axis and have succeeded in repelling the attack of the Golani forces on the village of “Al-Imam”. The SDF has held the Golani government responsible for these movements and emphasized that it is ready to respond decisively.

 

Meanwhile, Tom Barak, the US special envoy to Syria, expressed concern about the “worrying acts of violence” that have occurred in Sweida and Manbij and considered diplomacy the best way to achieve a peaceful and lasting solution.

 

It should be noted that in the past few days, the city of Sweida in southern Syria and Manbij in the outskirts of Aleppo have witnessed clashes between government forces affiliated with the Golani, local Druze groups, and US-backed SDF militias.
