Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In this meeting, the two sides emphasized increasing economic cooperation and expanding joint trade between Afghanistan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
Referring to the extensive investment potential in Afghanistan, Mullah Baradar spoke of the Islamic Emirate’s interest in developing economic relations with all republics of the Russian Federation and added that suitable grounds for investment are available in different parts of the country.
On the other hand, the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, referring to Russia’s recognition of the Islamic Emirate, considered this move to facilitate economic interactions between the two sides.
He also announced the readiness of the Republic of Tatarstan to invest in infrastructure projects, including the transfer of water from Panjshir to Kabul, and said that the republic's industrial companies are interested in starting cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields.
This meeting can be considered an important step towards strengthening Afghanistan's economic relations with regional countries and attracting foreign investment.
