The National Disaster Preparedness Authority (NDA) has announced that the 18-kilometer road paving project in Paktika province has been completed and put into operation at a cost of 1 million Afghanis in cooperation with the Public Works Department.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the National Disaster Preparedness Authority (NDA) announced in a statement on Wednesday that the 18-kilometer road paving project from Sultan village market in Saroza district to Chaharbaran district of Paktika province has been completed with the technical cooperation of the Afghan government and completed at a cost of 1 million Afghanis. has been put into operation.
 
According to the statement, the project is being implemented using advanced machinery and experienced technical team and aims to facilitate people's movement, increase access in times of natural disasters and strengthen economic activities in the region.
 
Local residents considered the project as a response to one of their basic needs and expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and the National Disaster Management Agency for its completion.
 
Officials from the National Disaster Preparedness Agency also stressed that the road will play an important role in facilitating the transportation of food and non-food relief supplies, essential services and reducing travel time between Sarozeh and Chaharbaran districts.
