Afghan Voice Agency (AWA) - International Service: According to Al-Mayadeen, Human Rights Watch announced that Israeli occupying forces have bombed more than 500 schools housing refugees in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians.
The international body emphasized that Israel’s attack on Gaza schools, regardless of the justifications provided, was “illegal,” and noted that Israel carries out dual attacks against schools and targets ambulances reaching the intended locations.
Human Rights Watch noted that the occupation regime’s attacks on schools in the Gaza Strip are carried out indiscriminately and that the regime uses US-made ammunition in these attacks.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupying forces have adopted a planned policy of targeting civilian infrastructure, especially schools, which have become shelters for tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians.
