Slovenia
In a historic and unprecedented move at the European Union level, the Slovenian government, as the first European country, has banned the import, export and transit of weapons and military equipment from and to Israel. This decision was taken in response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the European Union's inability to take joint measures.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The ban includes the passage of any military equipment from Slovenian territory to Israel or vice versa.

The import of goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied territories has also been banned.

The Slovenian government has announced that this action is a clear message to Israel and the international community that violations of human rights and international law will not go unanswered.

Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golub condemned the settlement construction, forced displacement and demolition of Palestinian homes, calling these actions a threat to civilian lives and a weakening of the international order.

At the same time as the ban, the Slovenian government has sent €900,000 in aid, including food and blankets, to Palestinians affected by the Gaza war.

This move by Slovenia could be a turning point in the EU's policies towards the Palestinian crisis.
