Lebanese people
Thousands of Lebanese people took to the streets of Beirut on Thursday evening (August 6) to express their firm support for Hezbollah and their serious opposition to the Lebanese army's plan to disarm this resistance movement.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This public gathering was held in response to the Lebanese government's recent decision to develop a plan centered on the army to disarm Hezbollah; a decision that has angered a large part of the Lebanese people, elites, and political movements.

The demonstrators, chanting slogans in support of Hezbollah and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the movement's leader, emphasized that the resistance's weapons are the Lebanese nation's red line against the threats of the Zionist regime and its regional and international supporters.

In their placards and chants, they condemned the government's decision and emphasized that Hezbollah's weapons are not only not a threat to internal security, but are also the most important deterrent against the aggression of the Zionist enemy and must be preserved.

Resistance weapons, the red line of the Lebanese nation
In this demonstration, many citizens, political figures and social activists criticized the efforts of some Western-affiliated movements to weaken the resistance, declaring that such plans are not in line with the will of the people and are actually moving in the direction of the demands of Tel Aviv and Washington.

The demonstrators warned that trying to disarm Hezbollah while the Zionist regime is increasing its threats against Lebanon every day is a betrayal of the country's national security and sovereignty.

This incident occurred while tensions on Lebanon's southern borders with occupied Palestine have increased in recent weeks, and Hezbollah has repeatedly targeted the regime's positions in response to the Zionist regime's aggression.
