Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Al-Azhar Egypt announced in a statement that the Zionist regime's decision to completely occupy Gaza is "a stain that will not be erased from the foreheads of institutions and the international community, which are powerless against this crime."
The religious institution added: We demand an end to the disastrous policies of the occupiers, which are based on arrogance, violence and humiliation of nations and ignore all international laws and charters.
Al-Azhar also called for all Arab, Islamic and international efforts to be coordinated and for pressure to be intensified to stop this historic disaster.
The Egyptian presidential office also issued a statement saying: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Turkish Foreign Minister opposed Israel's military occupation of Gaza in their meeting yesterday.
