Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: Abu Sharif, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran, said in an interview with Mizan News Agency: The issue of disarming Hezbollah in Lebanon is not an issue that was raised overnight, but rather some opponents claim that the weapon of resistance is one of the factors that paralyze the government and continue the country's problems.
He added: The pressure from the United States and Western countries, along with the Zionist regime and some Arab countries, to advance the roadmap aimed at disarming Hezbollah has increased, and these efforts are accompanied by promises such as financial assistance and reconstruction.
Emphasizing that Lebanon is at the forefront of confronting Israel, Abu Sharif stated: "Historical experience has shown that no guarantees from America, Israel, or even Arab countries are reliable, therefore, the rapid and forced disarmament of Hezbollah, without internal consensus and serious defense guarantees, will render the country defenseless against external threats and could even plunge it into chaos."
