Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Pakistani government announced that from August 6 to 31, the most important restrictions such as: cutting off mobile internet services in 36 districts of Balochistan, banning night traffic from 6 pm to 6 am on main roads, banning gatherings of more than five people from August 1 to 15, and banning the use of motorcycles by Turks will be implemented throughout the province.
Despite these measures, armed attacks by Baloch separatist groups continue. Especially after the recent suicide attack at the Quetta railway station that killed at least 26 people, the Pakistani government has decided to launch extensive intelligence-led operations across the province.
In this regard, the Shahbaz Sharif government is formulating a new national counter-terrorism policy that includes equipping security forces, developing affected areas, and pursuing diplomatic efforts in international forums against militant groups.
