Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The match was held on Tuesday evening, August 11, in Thimphu, Bhutan. Evans Asante, the Ghanaian captain of Paro FC, scored the only goal of the match in the 90th+4 minute, securing the victory for the Bhutanese team.

 

Abu Muslim Farah, who had qualified for the competition after winning the Afghan Champions League, took to the field with a combination of domestic players and several foreign players. Despite an acceptable performance and creating several goal opportunities, he could not open the opponent's goal and lost in the final moments of the game.

 

With this result, Paro FC qualified for the group stage of the Asian Challenge League and Abu Muslim Farah was eliminated from the competition.
