The number of victims of the war in Gaza has increased; more than 61,000 martyrs and an endless humanitarian crisis

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Palestinian Ministry of Public Health in the Gaza Strip issued a statement today (Tuesday) saying that 100 people have been martyred in the past 24 hours, 11 of whom have been pulled out from under the rubble. Another 513 people have been injured and transferred to hospitals in Gaza.

 

The ministry added that a large number of victims still remain under the rubble and on the roads, and rescue teams have not been able to reach them.

 

According to the latest statistics, since the beginning of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, 61,599 people have been martyred and 154,088 people have been injured. Since the collapse of the ceasefire in March 2025, 10,078 martyred and 42,047 injured have been recorded in this period alone.

 

The Ministry of Public Health also announced that about 14,000 people are missing in the Gaza Strip and are likely trapped under the rubble.

 

In the area of victims due to famine and lack of food, 31 people have been martyred and 388 people have been injured in the past 24 hours. The total number of martyrs in this area has reached 1,838 and the number of injured has reached more than 13,409. Five people, including two children, have died of hunger in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to famine has reached 227, of which 103 are children.

 

Reports indicate that the Zionist regime has systematically targeted humanitarian aid distribution centers and residential areas and prevented the entry of food, medicine, and water into Gaza. These measures have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the region and put the lives of thousands of people, especially children and women, at serious risk.

 

Since the start of the war in October 2023, the Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, has launched widespread attacks against the people of Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement. The regime has so far failed to accept any of the international demands and decisions of the International Criminal Court to stop these crimes.

 

Domestic and international human rights institutions have called on the international community to pressure the Zionist regime to stop this war and lift the humanitarian blockade.
