Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The friendly match between Inter Milan and Monza was held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the U-Power Stadium in Monza. In this match, Monza scored in the 32nd minute through Patrick Chioria, but Inter equalized in the 45th+1 minute with an own goal by Luca Birindelli.

 

In the second half, Christian Chievo's men took the lead in the 52nd minute through Francesco Pio Esposito, but Paolo Atzi equalised for Monza in the 89th minute to make it 2–2 after regulation time.

 

With the game tied at the end of regulation, the game went to penalties, which Inter eventually won 5–3 with goals from Lautaro Martinez, Bastoni, Barella, Acerbi and Thuram, with their own goalkeeper saving a shot.

 

The match was part of the two teams' warm-up programme ahead of the start of the new Serie A season and provided the coaches with an opportunity to test their formations and tactics.
