Gaza Occupation Plan Illegal; US and European Support Has Prevented Stopping the War

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): “Khaled Qadoumi,” Hamas representative in Tehran, in an interview with ISNA, in his analysis of the current situation in Gaza, stated: Around 95 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip at the beginning of the week, most of which were looted and stolen due to the deliberate security chaos created by the child-killing Zionist regime as part of its policy of engineering hunger and insecurity with the aim of weakening the resilience of the Palestinian people.

 

He clarified: In fact, the total number of trucks that entered the Gaza Strip during the past 14 days was only 1,210 aid trucks, which should have included 8,400 trucks in principle. This means that what was imported was not more than 14 percent of the actual needs.

 

Al-Qadoumi noted: In fact, we need at least 600 trucks daily, of course, this is without war conditions; in war conditions, this number may reach a thousand trucks.

 

Stating that “now two million and four hundred thousand people inside Gaza are suffering from hunger and thirst, and this humanitarian catastrophe has occurred on the part of the occupiers, and unfortunately with the green light and full support of the United States,” he said: “The United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community must truly take on great responsibility and stop this famine, but today the situation in Gaza is a humanitarian catastrophe. I don’t think even the word catastrophe clearly describes the current situation. Serious and official measures must be taken by Arab and Islamic countries to open the crossings and for Israel to stop this war crime.”

 

The Hamas representative in Tehran also stated: Even the aid that is being dropped on the people through airplanes has caused the martyrdom of a number of people; but in this situation, unfortunately, we have not seen a serious political-security, military and diplomatic stance from the world and Arab and Islamic leaders.

 

Al-Qadoumi noted: In this situation, the criminal Netanyahu has resorted to strange political plans, while we were at the negotiating table, but Whitaker, the special envoy of the US President, announced that we are fighting Hamas and raised issues such as disarmament, and Netanyahu has even spoken of a complete occupation of Gaza, while making such comments has no political or diplomatic aspect, and unfortunately, we have not seen any pressure or seriousness from the world and the region to stop the war crime.

 

He continued: Today, there are 61 martyrs and 363 injured in the last 24 hours in various hospitals in Gaza. Even a large number of martyrs are under the rubble and medical staff were unable to access the holy bodies of the martyrs. As a result of the criminal attacks from October 2023 to date, more than 61,430 people have been martyred and 153,213 injured. In addition, from March 18, 2025 to date, that is, since the beginning of humanitarian aid, which is essentially nothing but lies and deception, we have had more than 9,921 martyrs and 41,172 injured. Many of these martyrs were martyred when they went to relief centers and received bread and flour.

 

Qadoumi added: In fact, from March 18 to today, martyrs have been martyred because they went to these centers. About 1,778 people have been martyred and 12,894 people have been injured, and this situation is inhumane. The American and Israeli method is a war crime. Opening the crossings is a humanitarian issue. It is not a special task, but it is the right of our children that the crossings should be opened and aid trucks should be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.

 

The Hamas representative in Tehran, emphasizing that "it is clear and obvious that today Netanyahu is a corrupt, extremist and right-wing leader," said: He even violates sacred places with bullying, and he even desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims, during the time of committing war crimes. He does not respect any international law, nor the United Nations and human rights institutions. He does not pay attention to any of these institutions. Why? Because he is in the full support of Trump and his government.

 

He clarified: The child-killing Zionist regime has been supported by America and European countries from its inception until today, and due to the disaster that occurred in Gaza, I emphasize that if Israel did not have such political, security and financial support from America and several European countries, this war and human disaster would have stopped today.

 

Al-Qadoumi also stated that "the Gaza occupation plan is illegal," adding: Israel has been in Gaza as an occupying force since 1967 until today; they were at sea, controlled the crossings, and did not allow the construction of an airport. Therefore, Israel and this potentially child-killing regime have been in Gaza as occupying forces since 1967 until today, and this plan by the criminal Trump and Netanyahu, with the full support of the United States, to occupy Gaza shows that these leaders are truly corrupt, right-wing, and not open to dialogue.

 

The Hamas representative in Tehran noted: While we were at the negotiating table, we even responded to Trump's special envoy, Witkoff, that we were ready to release a few Israeli prisoners, even if the war were to stop within 60 days, or for example, 20 percent of the geography of Gaza where the Zionist regime forces were temporarily there were to gradually withdraw, but we came to this conclusion, not the US.
