Japanese Ambassador
Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a farewell meeting with Takayoshi Kurmaya, Japanese Ambassador to Kabul, appreciated his mission and emphasized the importance of the historical relations between the two countries and called for the expansion of economic, security and cultural cooperation in the future.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today held a farewell meeting with Takayoshi Kurmaya, Japanese Ambassador to Kabul.
 
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in this meeting, the Deputy Minister, while appreciating Mr. Kurmaya's mission, pointed out the historical value of relations between Afghanistan and Japan and emphasized the expansion of economic, security and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
 
Dr. Mohammad Naeem continued by providing information on the stability of Afghanistan, measures to prevent drug cultivation and trafficking, combating corruption and implementing infrastructure projects, and called for the positive cooperation and understanding of the international community.
 
Finally, the Japanese Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the Afghan government's efforts in improving the security situation, combating narcotics, and advancing infrastructure projects, and emphasized Japan's continued assistance to the Afghan people.
