Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Sayed Nasser Mousavi, an international relations expert, said in an interview with AVA: "Global public opinion, both in European countries and in the Arab and Islamic world, is strongly opposed to the crimes and atrocities of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip. Unlike some governments that continue to support this regime, today no nation or society is in agreement with these crimes."
According to Mousavi, following the intensification of crimes in Gaza, the governments of some European countries, including the Netherlands, have been influenced by public opinion and have taken independent decisions. He added: "This process could be the beginning of a collective movement worldwide, and it is possible that more governments will take similar action in the future."
He referred to the collective resignation of nine Dutch cabinet ministers, including the foreign minister, in protest of Israel's crimes, and considered it "a bright light to stimulate global public opinion" and a hopeful promise for other countries. Mousavi emphasized: “The barbaric behavior of the Zionist regime and its supporters, including parties and movements that defend infanticide and genocide, will face a different judgment and serious condemnation in history.”
Arab and Islamic countries; more indifferent than before to Israeli crimes
This international relations expert continued: “Unfortunately, Islamic countries have never had a unified position on Palestine and Gaza. Journalists are being deliberately targeted in Gaza
Meanwhile, political activist Hamed Elmi emphasized in an interview with Ava: “The crimes of the Zionist regime are out of control and there is a risk of war spreading throughout the region. Israel, with the support of the West, is committing genocide in Palestine in an unprecedented manner, and even journalists are not immune from these crimes.”
He added: “On Monday of this week, five more journalists were deliberately targeted and martyred in Gaza.”
Elmi also noted: “Today, the crimes against humanity of the Zionist regime are not hidden from the nations of the world, even the people of Israel itself. Along with international protests, the anger and internal criticism in the occupied territories have brought the regime closer to internal collapse.”
According to him, there are “clear signs of fear and confusion in Israel”; In a way that it is not even able to distinguish between friend and foe and attacks indiscriminately on all sides. He recalled: “A few days ago, the interim president of Syria, Ahmed al-Shara, announced the imminent signing of a security and defense agreement with Israel, but last night Israel bombed the outskirts of Damascus, the capital of Syria, six times and targeted the country’s military and defense installations; without the reason being clarified.”
Elmi continued: “It seems that either the unjust bloodshed in Gaza has driven Netanyahu crazy or there are really hidden developments underway in Syria.”
He emphasized: “The inhumane actions of the Zionist regime have made the situation of this regime in the region more complicated and will ultimately lead the countries supporting the current Syrian government to seriously confront Israel. Finally, this regime will become more alone and isolated than ever.”
