China Unveils Its Nuclear Triad for the First Time

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-International Service: China unveiled its land, sea and air strategic power as the "nuclear triad" for the first time today (Wednesday) during the country's armed forces parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.

 

This military display, which was held in the presence of high-ranking officials of the Communist Party and the People's Liberation Army, is considered a sign of strengthening China's nuclear deterrence and emphasizing the country's position in the world's strategic equations.

 

According to experts, the simultaneous unveiling of nuclear power in the three domains of land, sea, and air is a direct message to Beijing's international rivals, especially the United States and its allies, regarding the enhancement of China's defense and deterrence capabilities.
