Welcoming General Yawar in Kabul; Shia High Commission: Return of national figures a step towards national unity
Lieutenant General Ikramuddin Yawar, former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the former government, returned to the country after many years away from home with the coordination of the Shia High Commission and was warmly welcomed by officials and compatriots.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Shia High Commission issued a statement confirming the news of the return of this former security official and considered it an important step towards strengthening national unity, benefiting from past experiences and creating greater unity in the country's security and social structures.
According to the statement, a special ceremony was held at Kabul Airport to mark the return of General Yawar, where officials of the Afghan Shia High Commission were present and warmly welcomed him.
Ikramuddin Yawar is one of the country's well-known security figures who has held important responsibilities in different periods and has played an effective role in ensuring order and stability.
 
The Shia High Commission, while pointing out the importance of the return of national figures, has emphasized that, alongside the Commission for Contact with Afghan Figures, it has launched targeted efforts in recent months to return specialized forces to strengthen the national process and political stability in the country.
This is while, according to officials, over the past four years and with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, more than a thousand national figures have returned to the country through the efforts of the Commission for Contact with Figures.
 
Also, the Tebyan Social and Cultural Activities Center in Kabul, as one of the leading centers in encouraging the return of Afghan refugees and figures, has repeatedly called on all elites, refugees, and even opponents of the current government to return to the country, and has considered the only solution to Afghanistan's problems to be an active presence inside the country, presenting plans, and participating in national dialogues.
