Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: It was said that in this meeting, the two sides discussed the transfer of convicts and the extradition of criminals between the two countries and emphasized the need to implement bilateral agreements in the legal and judicial fields.
According to the press release of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the problems of Iranian drivers on the Afghan border, including issues related to traffic, road security and customs facilities, were also raised. It was said that the two sides emphasized the need to remove existing obstacles and facilitate legal traffic.
The press release added that another focus of the meeting was joint cooperation in combating human trafficking. The sides, while expressing concern about the spread of this phenomenon in the region, agreed to strengthen judicial and security coordination to effectively combat it.
