Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In a document issued after its meeting that ended yesterday, Friday, the Arab League emphasized that peaceful coexistence in the Middle East will not be possible with the continued occupation of Arab lands by the Zionist regime and its efforts to occupy other lands and the continuation of the regime's hostile actions.
On Thursday, the League, at a ministerial meeting held at its headquarters in Cairo, approved the "Joint Vision for Security and Cooperation in the Region" presented by Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Arab League reiterated in its statement that the lack of a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue is the main reason for the escalating periods of violence in the region.
The statement stated that the resolution of the issues is only possible through the two-state solution and the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, and the Israeli withdrawal to the June 4, 1967 lines and the formation of the Palestinian issue.
