The Root of the Problems of the Islamic Ummah is in Internal Disagreements

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In his speech, the Iranian President emphasized that the heavenly books were revealed to resolve differences and guide humanity, and that this guidance was only granted to those who truly adhered to God's message. He reminded that the constant prayer of believers in prayer for guidance to the straight path indicates the continuous need for unity and solidarity.

In another part of his speech, reviewing the first actions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) after entering Medina, Dr. Pazeshkian considered the pact of brotherhood between warring tribes as the first secret of the success of the Messenger of God, adding: The Prophet (PBUH) was able to turn long-standing enmities into unity by creating Islamic unity and brotherhood, and continuing on this path, he announced the message of unity to the Islamic world by conquering Mecca. He asked: “If we are the true followers of the Prophet (PBUH), why have we become 72 scattered and disparate nations today?”

Referring to the crimes of the Zionist regime and the silence of human rights advocates, he emphasized that if the Islamic Ummah were truly united, no power would have dared to attack Muslims. He considered the main source of the problems of the Islamic world to be internal differences and said: “Our problem is not Israel or America, the problem is in the divisions and conflicts among ourselves.”

 

Criticizing the dual policies of the West and citing the words of Imam Hussein (AS), Dr. Pazeshkian noted: Those who talk about human rights today have not smelled of either religion or humanity. Referring to the will of Imam Ali (AS), he also considered the three principles of "piety, order in affairs, and reforming relations between people" as the fundamental basis for the liberation of the Islamic nation.

He clarified: Worship in Islam is a means of brotherhood and cohesion, and if they lead to division, they have lost their philosophy. Pazeshkian introduced the people as the true capital of the nation and the pillar of religion, and addressed the scholars and religious elites present: "You are responsible for conveying the message of brotherhood and unity to the societies."

Stating that the Iranian nation thwarted the plans of the United States and the Zionist regime through unity and cohesion, the President of Iran added: "What frustrated the enemy was not only military power, but also the steadfastness and unity of the people." He emphasized the need for a united front of Muslims against enemies, saying, “If we can achieve true unity, not only will the dignity of nations be preserved, but the Islamic Ummah will be guided from darkness to light.” In conclusion, Pazeshkian called on scholars and thinkers of the Islamic world to fulfill their historical responsibility in creating solidarity, emphasizing, “Today, our heavy mission is to spread the message of humanity, justice, and fairness in Islamic societies; a mission that will only be achieved with sincerity, empathy, and perseverance.”
