According to the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, a special meeting has been held between the Ministry and the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs on the expansion of trade via Chabahar Port. Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: In this meeting, Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Trade, discussed with Mohammad Ibrahim Hekmat, Head of the Economic Affairs Department of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs, about the implementation of Resolution No. 11 and its operational solutions.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that a draft operational plan has been prepared in 11 paragraphs to develop this trade route, which includes executive measures, regional coordination, and facilitating the export and import process through Chabahar Port.
As one of the important transit routes for Afghanistan, this port plays a key role in strengthening regional trade, reducing dependence on limited routes, and increasing economic opportunities.
