Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Araqchi met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati upon his arrival in Cairo and discussed strengthening bilateral relations and regional cooperation. The two sides emphasized the continuation of the process of improving relations in areas of interest to the two countries.
According to Tasnim, the Iranian Foreign Minister also met with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Informed sources described the meeting as "important" and reported the possibility of a new agreement between Iran and the Agency.
In this meeting, Araghchi referred to the illegal attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran's nuclear facilities, considered these actions a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and international law, and announced his country's readiness to develop a new code of conduct for interaction with the Agency within the framework of the parliamentary law.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, while praising Iran's responsible approach, emphasized the right of the member states of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) to peacefully utilize nuclear energy, and announced Egypt's readiness to facilitate interactions between Iran and the Agency.
