Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Bamyan: Jan Mohammad, head of the “Hindu Kush Eagles” mountaineering team, stated in an interview with AVA that they, in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Ghor province, have successfully conquered the highest peak of Band Ghok, 3250 meters, in Shahrak district of the province.
Meanwhile, Nasim Khormi, head of the Ghor Mountaineering Federation, has also climbed the highest peak of the Siah Kooh range, 3600 meters, with a group of mountaineers.
Mr. Khormi stated that the purpose of holding these programs is to increase the physical, mental and physical endurance of mountaineers, encourage youth to exercise and avoid smoking.
It is worth noting that previously, the Hindu Kush Eagles mountaineering team had also succeeded in conquering the 2,750-meter peak of Sefidkooh.
