At a cultural meeting of writers, poets and artists in Panjshir province, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Information and Culture called on them to use their pen and thoughts to resist foreign conspiracies and play an effective role in maintaining the unity and stability of the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Information and Culture announced today (Sunday, Sept 29) in a press release that Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts of the ministry, attended a cultural meeting of writers, poets and artists in Panjshir province.
In his speech, Mr. Azizi said that the enemies cannot tolerate the current security and stability of the country and are always seeking to secure their own personal interests.
Praising the historical struggle of the people of Panjshir against the aggression of the former Soviet Union, he added that the vision of the Islamic Emirate is comprehensive and inclusive of Afghanistan and is based on the unity and solidarity of all ethnic groups.
The Minister of Culture and Arts emphasized: “The Afghan nation can no longer afford long wars, therefore, writers, poets, and sheikhs must fight against foreign conspiracies with pen and culture.”
Experts believe that using cultural and literary capacities can play a key role in neutralizing negative propaganda, strengthening national identity, and preventing the infiltration of foreign ideas. Studies show that relying on cultural diplomacy and popular solidarity is one of the soft tools to confront regional and global threats against the country.
