The Director General of the Gaza State Information Office, opposing the US President's plan to stop the war, said that this initiative is a new form of domination over the Palestinian people, instead of a just solution to the crisis.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Director General of the Gaza Strip State Information Office, Ismail Al-Thawabta, stated: The US plan is an attempt to impose a new mandate that legitimizes the Israeli occupation and deprives the Palestinian people of their rights.

He added, according to Arti, that the only way to stop the war is to end the Israeli aggression, lift the cruel siege and stop the systematic killing.

The Director General of the Gaza State Information Office emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to freedom, independence and self-determination.

He stated: “Any proposal that ignores these rights and treats Gaza as a security entity without sovereignty under international management is completely rejected in the collective Palestinian national wisdom.”

Al-Thawateh concluded: “This is our understanding of the nature of the relationship between a great people who made many sacrifices under occupation for 77 years, against the criminal occupying groups that occupied Palestine without rights.”

He called for an immediate end to this criminal war.
