Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the presidency of the Russian Federation, today (Tuesday, Sept 30) denied any participation of Moscow in US President Donald Trump's plan to allegedly end the Gaza war.

 

During a press conference at the Kremlin, Peskov, while referring to Russia's lack of participation in the US plan for Gaza, said that Washington had not sent any message to Moscow in this regard.

 

According to Sputnik News Agency, he explained in this regard: "Russia is in contact with all the conflicting parties in the Middle East and is ready to cooperate to calm the situation."

 

The Russian official added: "We welcome Trump's efforts to end the Palestinian conflict and hope that his peace plan will succeed."

 

According to the report, Peskov also said in another part of his speech about the proposal of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to build an "anti-drone wall" on the continent's border with Russia: "It is regrettable that Ukraine's military policy may manifest itself in the construction of new walls." He also added: "Germany has been indirectly involved in the Ukrainian conflict for a long time, and there is nothing new in the statements of its Chancellor, neither about war nor about peace."
