Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Alireza Bekdali stated in an interview that the Iranian private sector can play an important role in developing the infrastructure of the agricultural and livestock industries in Afghanistan.
Referring to the needs of the Afghan agricultural sector, the Iranian diplomat said: “This country needs the construction of cold stores, slaughterhouses, the production of agricultural machinery, irrigation equipment, and the chain of processing and packaging of products.”
Bekdali emphasized that the development of this infrastructure can help improve the level of economic cooperation between the two countries and optimally utilize the capacities of the agricultural and livestock sectors.
This is while the 33rd exhibition of agricultural products and domestic products of the country by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has started in Badambagh, Kabul on Wednesday (Oct 1). The exhibition will continue for four days and according to the exhibitors, the large attendance of the people shows their serious interest in handicrafts and domestic products. They emphasized that holding such events can provide employment, marketing and introducing domestic products to domestic and foreign markets.
