Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Bamyan: Rajab Ali Fitrat, General Director of Technical and Professional Physical Education and Sports of Bamyan Province, said in an interview with AVA: “A team of 6 mountaineers from Ghor and Bamyan provinces, with the coordination of this department, succeeded in reaching the 5,140-meter Shah Foladi peak in the Baba Mountain Range.”
Jan Mohammad Haidari, one of the mountaineers from Ghor Province, also added: “Although this route was very difficult and challenging, we were able to successfully climb the highest peak of Shah Foladi after two days and nights.”
Mr. Fitrat stated that the goal of this program is to "encourage people in the community, especially youth, to participate in sports and also to support Afghanistan's historical sites."
