Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mashhad: Mehdi Rajabi, Deputy for Political, Security and Social Affairs of the Taibad Governorate, announced that with the reestablishment of the internet network in Afghanistan, the exit of the transport fleet at the official Dogharun crossing has resumed. This stoppage, which began at 7:00 PM, had stopped more than 1,827 Iranian and Afghan transport fleets at this border.
Citing IRNA, this official of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that hundreds of truck vehicles have entered and exited the border since the morning of (Thursday).
According to him, in order to reduce the volume of vehicle stops, the Dogharun customs and border terminal were also active on Friday. He emphasized that currently, 100 percent of customs procedures at this crossing have returned to normal in the past few days. Also, the entry of Iranian and Afghan cargo trucks from Afghanistan to Dogharun is also taking place without any problems.
It is worth noting that the Dogharun border terminal and customs, adjacent to Islam Qala in the country, is considered one of the most important economic hubs.
