Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: After the end of the multilateral talks in Egypt, US President Donald Trump wrote on his account on the Truth social network that very positive talks have been held with Hamas and various countries of the world (Arab, Muslim and others) to release the hostages, end the war in Gaza and, most importantly, finally establish a long-awaited peace in the Middle East.
Trump added that these talks have been very successful and are progressing rapidly. Technical teams will meet again in Egypt on Monday to review and clarify the final details.
The Islamic Resistance Movement has not yet commented on Sunday's talks.
The US President continued, saying that he has been informed that the first phase should be completed this week and I ask everyone to act quickly. I will personally continue to monitor this “conflict of centuries.”
Time is of the essence, otherwise there will be widespread bloodshed; something no one wants!
In the wake of the ongoing bombing of Gaza, delegations from the Israeli regime and the Hamas movement left for Cairo on Sunday to hold intensive talks with Egyptian mediation on a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in accordance with Trump’s proposed plan.
After nearly two years of military conflict between the Israeli regime and Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip, regional and international efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement have intensified. Egypt, as the main mediator in the negotiations, is once again hosting delegations from the conflicting parties to pave the way for a cessation of hostilities and a prisoner exchange in accordance with Trump’s proposed plan. Meanwhile, domestic political developments in Israel and public pressure for the return of prisoners have pushed the Netanyahu government toward accepting the agreement.
