According to the media, the third round of indirect talks between the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas and Israel, mediated by Egypt, began today (Wednesday) in Sharm el-Sheikh, while a kind of cautious optimism prevails over these talks.
The Cairo news agency wrote: The talks began at 11:00 local time and are focused on the prisoners' case, ensuring that Israel does not repeat its aggression against Gaza, determining the points of withdrawal of the occupying forces, and also on the transfer of aid to Gaza.
Hassan Rashad, head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Turkish Security and Intelligence Agency, Steve Whittaker and Jared Kushner, two of Donald Trump's envoys, are present in the third round of these talks in Sharm El-Sheikh.
In this regard, Egyptian writer and journalist Samir Omar said: The talks of the past two days in Sharm El-Sheikh showed that the negotiating parties are working hard to reach a conclusion and implement Trump's plan for a ceasefire in Gaza.
