Salar Velayatmadar, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, denied the involvement of Afghan nationals in the issue of infiltration in the 12-day war, emphasizing: Not a single one of these arrested infiltrators was an Afghan national. Among those we arrested and examined their files and confessed to being infiltrators, not a single one was an Afghan national.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament provided explanations in an interview with Tabnak regarding the details of the commission's meeting with the Minister of Intelligence.
 
Regarding the issue of infiltration in the civil war, he said: We arrested a number of people suspected of infiltration during the 12-day war and afterwards, and later, in the examination of the files, it was determined that a significant percentage of them were indeed infiltrators and confessed to being infiltrators themselves.
 
He denied the arrest of Afghan nationals in the issue of infiltration, stating: "Not a single one of these arrested infiltrators was an Afghan national. Among those we arrested and examined their files and admitted to being infiltrators, not a single one was an Afghan national."
 
Regarding the measures of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Parliament to regulate the status of foreign nationals, he said: "We should soon determine the status of the nationals with the Joint National Security Commission and the councils, and this process will accelerate."
 
Regarding whether a discussion was raised in this meeting about a possible war, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament said: "We are concerned that the enemy wants to create more fear. Because the enemy has made its goals available to us, and we do not allow the possibility of war."
