Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: US President Donald Trump announced this morning (Thursday, October 9) that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between the Israeli regime and Hamas.
Trump wrote on the social network "Truth Social" that the two sides have reached an agreement on the first phase of the US peace plan and that the hostages will be released soon.
He explained in this regard: "I am proud to announce that both Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of our peace plan. This means that all hostages will be released very soon and Israel will withdraw its forces to the agreed line, as the first steps towards a strong, lasting and lasting peace.”
The US President continued: “All sides will be treated fairly! This is a great day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel, all countries in the region and the United States, and we thank the Qatari, Egyptian and Turkish mediators who worked with us to make this historic and unprecedented event happen.”
Hamas confirms agreement with the Zionist regime
An hour later, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” confirmed the agreement with the Zionist regime for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas said in a statement: “Following responsible and serious negotiations between the movement and the Palestinian resistance groups regarding Trump’s proposal in Sharm el-Sheikh to end the devastating war against the Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip, we announce the conclusion of an agreement that will facilitate the end of the war against Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupiers from it, the entry of aid and the exchange of prisoners.”
“We greatly appreciate the efforts of our mediating brothers in Qatar, Egypt and Turkey. We also appreciate the efforts of US President Donald Trump, who are seeking a permanent cessation of the war and ensuring the complete withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.
“We call on Trump, the guarantor countries of the agreement and the various Arab, Islamic and international parties to oblige the occupying regime to fully implement the requirements of the agreement and prevent it from evading or delaying the implementation of what has been agreed.”
Hamas continued: "We salute our great nation in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and the West Bank, both inside and outside the homeland, who have displayed unparalleled pride, heroism and honor and confronted the plans of the fascist occupiers that targeted them and their national rights.
