For the first time; Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation between the Mountaineering Federations of Iran and Afghanistan was signed
The Mountaineering Federation of the country says that a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation with the Mountaineering Federation of Iran has been signed in Tehran. This is the first time in the history of mountaineering between the two countries that an official memorandum of understanding has been signed between the two federations to expand technical, educational and sports cooperation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This memorandum of understanding was signed between Mohammad Sediq Jami, Technical and Professional Deputy of the Afghanistan Mountaineering Federation, and Reza Zarei, President of the Mountaineering Federation of Iran.
According to the provisions of this memorandum, Afghan mountaineers will benefit from the experiences, knowledge and training of Iranian trainers, and in return, Iranian mountaineers can climb the country's high peaks in coordination with the Afghanistan Mountaineering Federation.
It is worth noting that online training courses have been held for Afghan mountaineers for three months now, in coordination with the two federations.
In the next step, Iranian trainers are scheduled to travel to Afghanistan to conduct training and practical programs in one of the mountainous provinces of the country.
