Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Nasreddin Amer", the deputy head of the information department of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, said this morning (Thursday, 9 October) that two years of patience and sacrifice of the people of Gaza have paid off with the Zionist regime agreeing to a ceasefire.
In a statement reacting to the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Amer explained: "Two years ago, on this day, the resistance in Gaza announced that the Zionist prisoners would not be returned except through negotiations. However, Israel said that it would take them back by force, and the entire oppressive world was with them in this matter."
Al-Masirah TV quoted him as saying: "At this moment, by the grace of God, the sacrifices of the Mujahideen and the patience and steadfastness of the people of Gaza, which have amazed the whole world, have borne fruit in light of the sacrifices of the front lines who have stood by Gaza and made sacrifices until this moment." The Yemeni official also added: "Two years ago, on these days, the Yemeni people, our leader and the army told the people of Gaza that you are not alone and you will never be alone, and we will be with you until victory."
