Large public gatherings were held in the north of the country to support the government and consolidate national unity

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Mazar-e-Sharif: Large public gatherings were held in the five northern provinces of the country (Balkh, Samangan, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Faryab) to support the Islamic Emirate government and consolidate national unity.

 

In these gatherings, which were held under the slogan "Unity of the Nation, Survival of the Islamic System, and Welfare of the People," Maulvi Ali Jan Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Jirgas and Coordination of the Ministry of Borders, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs, delivered a speech during separate trips to these provinces and emphasized the need to strengthen ethnic solidarity, people's cooperation with the government, and the country's all-round progress.

 

He said: "Strengthening unity among ethnic groups and addressing the problems of the people are among the priorities of the Islamic Emirate government. Security has been ensured in the country and the Islamic system has become dominant; now it is necessary for the nation and the government to work for self-sufficiency and public welfare with gratitude and cooperation."

 

Maulvi Ahmad added: "The Islamic Emirate is opposed to revenge and pressure and considers serving the people its sacred mission. With piety, sincerity, and mutual cooperation, the government will address the problems of the people and consolidate national unity."

 

Meanwhile, officials of government departments in the northern provinces of the country also said in these conferences that the government of the Islamic Emirate has undertaken major development and economic projects for the welfare of the people and that we will soon witness significant changes in various sectors. They considered the cooperation and empathy of the people to be the condition for the success of these programs.

 

On the other hand, representatives of the people and local scholars in these gatherings, appreciating the government’s performance over the past four years, called for the expansion of public services, improvement of infrastructure, and social development at the national level.

 

According to the organizers, the goal of these gatherings is to strengthen the spirit of cooperation between the nation and the government and prevent division among the ethnic groups of Afghanistan.
