Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar recently held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi. In the telephone call, the two sides discussed recent developments in the region, especially the situation in Gaza and Palestine.
The Iranian and Pakistani Foreign Ministers also discussed joint efforts by Muslim countries to promote peace and stability in the region.
In addition, they exchanged views on the upcoming Islamic summit to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, according to Tasnim.
This contact is of particular importance in the sensitive situation in the region and after the recent developments in Gaza, and it demonstrates the determination of Muslim countries to cooperate to establish security and stability.
