Hamas: We will not stop trying until all prisoners are released

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: After the start of the prisoner exchange process this morning and the release of a devastating statement by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas movement also announced in a statement that the release of 20 Israeli prisoners by Al-Qassam and the resistance in the Gaza Strip is part of the implementation of the first stage of Trump's plan to stop the war in Gaza.

 

After the release of 7 Zionist prisoners in the first step of the prisoner exchange, Hamas announced that with this action, we confirm our adherence to our commitments and emphasize the vital role of mediators in forcing the enemy to fulfill its obligations according to the agreement.

 

The statement continued that the release of Palestinian prisoners, including those sentenced to life imprisonment and heavy sentences, is “the result of the heroism and steadfastness of our nation and the children of the resistance against the occupation.”

 

Hamas stressed that “this release demonstrates the resistance’s loyalty to its covenant with the nation and its prisoners, and is a manifestation of a will for liberation that will never be broken in the face of the neo-Nazi oppression.”

 

The resistance movement stressed that the enemy was ultimately forced to accept the conditions of the resistance; a resistance that insisted that the return of enemy prisoners was only possible through an exchange agreement and an end to the war.

 

The statement continued that despite the efforts of Netanyahu and his terrorist army to target and eliminate enemy prisoners, the resistance did its utmost to save their lives. While the enemy prisoners were kept safe, Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons face all kinds of torture, harassment, and murder.

 

Hamas added that “the issue of prisoners will remain at the top of the national priorities of the Palestinian people and the resistance. The Palestinian people will not rest until the last prisoner is released from the neo-Nazi prisons and the occupation of our land and sanctities is completely ended.”

 

While the first steps towards the prisoner exchange agreement have been taken and the Palestinian resistance is emphasizing its commitment to its commitments, the clear and striking messages from Hamas and the Qassam Brigades show that this exchange is not only a victory on the ground, but also a symbol of the failure of the occupation’s military strategies against the will of the Palestinian people.
