Kataib al-Qassam Brigades after prisoner exchange: The enemy came to the negotiating table with defeat
Following the implementation of the first stage of the prisoner exchange agreement, the military wing of Hamas issued a statement announcing that the resistance and sacrifice of the mujahideen defeated Israel’s military strategy and forced the enemy to retreat and negotiate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Kataib al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, issued a statement this morning (Monday, 12 October) in the first step of the prisoner exchange, after handing over 7 Zionist prisoners to the Red Cross.

The statement states: The agreement reached is the fruit of the perseverance of our nation and the resistance of the resisters. We announce our commitment to the agreement reached and the timetables related to it, provided that the occupier also adheres to it.

The Qassam Brigades stressed that the resistance has always been trying to stop the genocidal war and has been trying to do so since the first months, but the enemy, due to narrow-minded calculations and to satisfy the instinct of barbarity and revenge of its Nazi state, thwarted all efforts.

The statement continued: The enemy failed to return its prisoners through military pressure, despite its intelligence superiority and great power, and now it has surrendered and is returning its prisoners through an exchange agreement, as the resistance had promised from the beginning.

The military wing of Hamas stated that "the Nazi occupier could have returned most of its prisoners alive months ago, but through stubbornness and procrastination, its army preferred to kill dozens of them as a result of the failed policy of military pressure."

In conclusion, the Al-Qassam Brigades addressed the Palestinian prisoners and declared: "Gaza and its resistance have offered their most precious assets and have worked with all their might to break the chains of your captivity; and we pledge that your issue will remain at the top of our national priorities until you all achieve freedom."
