Kabul rejects visa applications of senior Pakistani officials, including defense minister
Reliable sources have confirmed to the media that senior Pakistani officials, including the defense minister and the country's intelligence chief, have made three official requests to travel to Afghanistan and obtain visas in the past three days, but these requests have been repeatedly rejected by the Islamic Emirate.
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif, ISI Chief Asim Malik and two other senior Pakistani generals have sent three separate applications for visas to Afghanistan in the past three days, according to reports.

However, informed sources said that Islamic State officials have repeatedly rejected repeated requests for official visits by Pakistani military and defense officials to Afghanistan, according to TOLOnews.

On October 9, Pakistan invaded Afghanistan and carried out airstrikes in various areas, including Kabul (the capital) and Paktika, Khost and Nangarhar provinces.

Following the attack two nights ago, Islamic Emirate forces clashed with Pakistani forces along the Durand Line. According to Pakistani officials, 23 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 29 others wounded in the attack.
