Afghanistan one step closer to the championship; National Cricket Team to face Bangladesh
The Afghan national cricket team will face Bangladesh today in the third and final match of the One-Day International (ODI) series. Afghanistan has taken a 2-0 lead over its opponent with two consecutive victories and is now ready to lift the series championship trophy.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The country's Cricket Board has announced that this match will be held at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, today (Tuesday, 22 October) at 4:30 PM Kabul time.

Although the result of this match does not affect the fate of the championship and is ceremonial; but in terms of points in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, it is of particular importance for both teams.

Afghanistan had a brilliant performance in the previous two matches. In the first match, they defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets and Azmatullah Omarzai was named the best player of the field.

In the second match, Afghanistan won by 81 runs, with Ibrahim Zadran being named the best player.
