Maritime accident near Yemen coast
The British maritime security company Embry announced on Saturday that a maritime accident had occurred off the coast of Ahur, Yemen.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to a report by this British company active in the field of maritime security, an oil tanker carrying the Cameroon flag exploded about 60 nautical miles south of the Ahur region and its crew sent an emergency request for help.
 
The crew of the oil tanker announced in an emergency message that they intended to abandon ship. Embry also confirmed that search and rescue operations are underway in the area.
 
No further details have been released yet about the cause of the explosion and the condition of the injured.
