Bizhan Sadrzadeh to face Dominican opponent in World Taekwondo Competition
Following the draw for the World Taekwondo Championship in China, Bizhan Sadrzadeh, the country's last representative in the minus 74 kg weight category, will face "Bernardo P" from the Dominican Republic in his first match.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Bizhan Sadrzadeh is the seventh and last national representative of the country to enter Xiamen in the World Taekwondo Championship. Before him, other representatives of the country in different weights have failed to continue due to defeats in the preliminary rounds.

In the last match before Sadrzadeh, Hekmatullah Zain lost to an Uzbek taekwondo player in a close match with a score of 2:1 and was eliminated from the competition.

Previously, Omid Sahak, Mohammad Ashraf Shokran, Ehsam Rahimi, Ali Akbar Amiri and Mohsen Rezaei had also lost to their opponents and failed to qualify for the higher stages.

According to reports, the level of competition during this period has been very intense and close. Some sports experts believe that the lack of regular foreign training camps and limited participation in international preparatory competitions have affected the physical fitness and performance of the national team. It is worth noting that the country's team has entered these competitions with minimal facilities and financial support.

According to observers, participation in world competitions for the country's taekwondo athletes, although accompanied by limited results, is important in terms of gaining experience and maintaining presence on the international stage. Studies show that in order to improve results, there is a need to strengthen training camps, sustainable financial support, and continuous participation in preparatory tournaments.
